1Vision is a Joint Venture between HMS TECHNOLOGIES, Inc. and MBL Technologies, Inc. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), our goal is to provide superior IT and Program Management solutions throughout the Federal Government, focusing on offices within the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). IT Portfolio & Program Management

1Vision is steeped with certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs), many of which bring skills such as ITIL, ISO, SDLC, Agile, and various other specialized technical credentials to your organization.

Our foundation is process driven, proven, and audited which guarantees best-in-class deployment and implementation. Testing & Evaluation

1Vision deploys experienced systems engineers on-site to coordinate the implementation of enterprise network solutions. Following ITIL best practices, we evaluate the needs of the client, tailor a solution based upon the requirements, and rigorously test to ensure our solution is as fine-tuned as possible upon startup. We require all our engineers be trained and certified in major software development processes, specifically Agile and Rapid Application Development (RAD) while our Human Resources department ensures all deployed personnel’s certifications are up to date.

Our training specialists work in tandem with the end user and the engineers. They ensure that once our solutions are deployed, Government employees are able to successfully engage with the product and utilize it properly.

1Vision’s commitment to our client does not end upon deployment; rather, we follow a regular maintenance schedule agreed upon with the client. 1Vision specialists coordinate maintenance windows for bug fixes, software patches, and hardware and software upgrades (as they apply to the contract), as well as follow-up training as necessary. Our goal is to provide the greatest possible user experience with minimal user downtime.

Enterprise Management Framework

1Vision has architected and deployed EMF systems to implement a centralized framework to monitor VA’s complex IT systems and processes across multiple disciplines and increase accountability across the enterprise. We implement an automated, enterprise-wide view that automatically shows the status of Help Desk and Managed Data Repository (MDR) IT systems and performance data.

This logical, enterprise-wide view comprises tools, reports, dashboards, and analytics which allow end users to view real-time information about the health and performances of IT systems. Access to this kind of information helps agencies make strategic, operational, and investment decisions and better support its users.

1Vision has achieved multi-site migration and recovery for services through the use of VMware virtualization products and EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions for over 300,000 users. In order to offer comprehensive solutions, we have many value-added reseller (VAR) product relationships including IBM, Computer Associates (CA), EMC, and Dell.

Cloud Computing Security & Compliance

Leveraging our institutional knowledge, client/vendor relationships, and subject matter expertise, 1Vision helps our customers adopt the right cloud solution for their business needs. We assist our clients in defining and implementing secure cloud architecture requirements across the enterprise, enabling the mission while safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and Information Technology systems.

We help clients ensure their cloud infrastructures comply with Federal requirements and standards through a standardized, repeatable process that is tailored to the specific organizational requirements.

Emergency Management

1Vision works with our clients to focus on those assets most important to the fulfillment of their missions - the people. Our approaches ensure readiness of client staff across all mission areas - prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery - through audit-defensible plans, tailored exercises, risk assessments, and training and awareness activities. We recognize that the key to success lies in knowledge-building and awareness versus strict compliance.

Our capabilities support this goal and facilitate client readiness, including the development and implementation of the processes, technologies, and infrastructure required for them to respond to events in an all-hazards environment.

Identity & Access Management

1Vision offers expertise and solutions to help clients comply with the HSPD-12 Directive, which requires the implementation of an enterprise-wide common identification credential. We also tailor our identity management solutions with the goal of ensuring appropriate role-based access and providing increased security program cost effectiveness. Specifically:

  • For Governance and Policy Support: We offer IAM support to assess the alignment of Department-level program policies with existing federal mandates and guidance related to identity and access management including providing ongoing Gap Analysis statements
  • For Integration and Implementation Support: We provide business analysis support to the full cycle of identity access activities inclusive of analysis and formulation of requirements, deliverables, application needs, and web resource tools.

Privacy

In accordance with government regulations, 1Vision provides a comprehensive suite of privacy capabilities to establish, support, and mature federal privacy and data loss prevention programs, including:

  • Engineering the design for assessing the baseline and gaps associated with implementation of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53, revision 4, Appendix J privacy control catalog;
  • Conducting successful privacy impact assessment (PIA) drafts on behalf of the HHS Senior Agency Official for Privacy (SAOP);
  • Providing comprehensive, lifecycle privacy incident response team (PIRT) and breach response support; and,
  • Developing and implementing the current annual privacy awareness training.
